Sony TV’s popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 continues to entertain viewers with its engaging questions and personal stories shared by host Amitabh Bachchan. Over the years, Big B has built a special connection with the audience, often sharing lesser-known aspects of his life. In a recent episode, the Bollywood icon opened up about a deep, unfulfilled desire – joining the Indian Army.

    Amitabh Bachchan Shares His Wish

During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Neha, a contestant from Maharashtra, to the hot seat. Neha, who had completed her master’s degree and aspired to join the Indian Army, caught the attention of the veteran actor. Inspired by her passion, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he, too, had always dreamed of serving in the army.

Big B shared, “I’ve always been drawn to the uniform. Even when I wear it for a character, it changes something inside me. It brings out a sense of responsibility and discipline.”

    A Long-Standing Desire

Amitabh Bachchan expressed that his fascination with the army went beyond just admiration. He believes that wearing the uniform instills a deep sense of duty. While he never had the chance to fulfill this dream in real life, he still cherishes the thought of serving the country. Reflecting on Neha’s comments, he added, “Joining the army teaches you patience and discipline, qualities every citizen should experience.”

Though he never had the opportunity to pursue this path, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned that, if given the chance in the future, he would willingly join the army with pride.
