    Veteran actor Arun Bali, a name synonymous with memorable roles in Bollywood, bid farewell to the world on October 7, 2022. In a heart-touching coincidence, the film Goodbye, in which he played a significant role, was released on the same day. Arun Bali, aged 79, passed away, leaving behind an illustrious career that spanned decades across television, Hindi cinema, and even regional films.

    Arun Bali’s acting journey began with theatre, but it was in 1989 that he made his television debut with Doosra Keval. His portrayal in the historical series Chanakya (1991) further established his talent. As he transitioned into films, Bali became a familiar face in the industry, making a mark with his Bollywood debut in Saugandh (1991). His versatile acting in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yalgaar, Phool Aur Angare, and Satya earned him critical acclaim.

Whether it was the heartwarming 3 Idiots, the thought-provoking PK, or the touching Barfi, Arun Bali’s presence added depth to each role. He portrayed various characters in movies like Kedarnath, Panipat, Lal Singh Chaddha, and Hey Ram, showcasing his ability to fit into diverse roles. His vast career also included more than 40 films and countless TV shows.
