Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is known for many things—his blockbuster films, his charismatic personality, and his stylish fashion sense. One accessory that stands out and has been a part of his persona for decades is his turquoise stone bracelet. For over 40 years, Salman has been seen wearing this bracelet, which has become more than just a fashion statement—it’s believed to hold deep significance for the actor.

The Protective Power of the Bracelet

Fans of Salman Khan are familiar with the fact that he has faced multiple death threats, including several from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In such uncertain times, many of his fans have expressed concern for his safety. Amid these threats, an old video of Salman has resurfaced, where the actor talks about how his turquoise bracelet protects him from negativity.

In the viral video, Salman shares that the bracelet not only brings him luck but also shields him from negative energies. He says, “This stone is called turquoise. If any negativity is directed at me, the stone absorbs it, and once it has taken in too much, it breaks.” Over the years, Salman has had several of these stones break, and he’s now on his seventh one.

    A Family Tradition

Salman’s attachment to this bracelet goes beyond its protective qualities. It’s a tradition passed down by his father, Salim Khan, who has worn a similar bracelet for many years. Salman revealed that as a child, he would play with his father’s bracelet, fascinated by the way it looked. When Salman started working, his father gifted him one of his own.

The bracelet is not just a piece of jewelry but a symbol of family and tradition for Salman, making it even more special to him.

    Is Turquoise Really Expensive?

Despite the significance of the stone, turquoise itself is not among the most expensive gemstones. Its price can vary based on factors like clarity, treatment, and weight. Reports suggest that turquoise stones start from Rs 570 per carat and can go up to Rs 11,500 per carat depending on quality.

For Salman, however, the value of the bracelet is far beyond monetary—it’s a source of comfort, protection, and connection to his father.

    Salman Khan’s Upcoming Projects

Currently, Salman Khan is busy with his hosting duties for Bigg Boss season 18, and fans are also eagerly waiting for his next film, Sultan, set to release on Eid next year. With many exciting projects lined up, the superstar continues to stay in the limelight while carrying his beloved turquoise bracelet as a symbol of protection and good fortune.
