    Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress leader and sister of Rahul Gandhi, is making headlines after filing her nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha by-election from Wayanad. Along with her nomination, Priyanka’s election affidavit has revealed some significant details about her financial status, showcasing her wealth and investments.

    Assets Declared by Priyanka Gandhi

    According to the affidavit, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has movable assets worth approximately Rs 4.24 crore. These include substantial investments and holdings in precious metals. She also possesses immovable assets amounting to Rs 13.89 crore. Her husband, Robert Vadra, is reported to have movable assets worth Rs 37.91 crore.

    Investments in Mutual Funds and PPF

    Priyanka Gandhi has been prudent with her investments. As per the affidavit, she has invested over Rs 2.24 crore in mutual funds. Additionally, she holds a Public Provident Fund (PPF) account with a balance of Rs 17.38 lakh.

    Bank Balances and Cash

    The Congress leader has three bank accounts with total deposits of Rs 3.61 lakh. By the end of September 2024, she had Rs 52,000 in hand as cash.

    Silver and Gold Holdings

    One of the most striking aspects of Priyanka Gandhi’s wealth declaration is her holding of nearly 59.83 kg of silver, valued at Rs 29.55 lakh. Additionally, she owns gold jewelry weighing around 2.5 kg, worth Rs 1.15 crore.

    Property in Shimla and Other Assets

    Priyanka Gandhi also owns a house in Shimla, covering an area of 48,997 square feet. The property is valued at around Rs 1.09 crore. She has declared a total residential property worth Rs 7.74 crore.

    Meanwhile, Robert Vadra’s assets include commercial buildings valued at Rs 27.64 crore, adding to the family’s considerable wealth.

    Liabilities Declared

    The affidavit also mentions liabilities, with Priyanka Gandhi declaring a loan of Rs 15.75 lakh, while Robert Vadra has a significant debt of Rs 10.03 crore.

    This election affidavit sheds light on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s financial portfolio, showcasing a mix of investments, properties, and precious metal holdings.
