    Jemimah was born on 5 September 2000 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her parents, Ivan and Lavita Rodrigues, are loving and caring. She has two older brothers, Enoch and Eli, who played cricket with her since she was little.

    She began playing organized cricket at age four. When she was 13, she made it into the state’s under‑19 team. She also played hockey for Maharashtra in under‑17 and under‑19 teams. Later, her family moved from Bhandup to Bandra West so she could train and study better.

    Education and Cricket Start

    Jemimah went to St. Joseph’s Convent High School, then attended Rizvi College in Mumbai. While studying, she trained hard for cricket. Her father, Ivan, coached her after school, helped form the school’s girls’ cricket team, and guided her for years.

    By age 12½, she already played Under‑19 state cricket. Her school supported her, and she kept her studies up too .
