The situation in Bangladesh has taken a severe turn, with escalating violence against the minority Hindu population following the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The unrest has led to widespread terror, with families displaced, women abused, and places of worship desecrated. Amidst this turmoil, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has expressed her deep concern and sorrow over the tragic events unfolding in the neighboring country.

    Preity Zinta’s Emotional Response

Preity Zinta took to social media to voice her heartbreak over the violence. She expressed her sadness and concern for those affected, sending prayers for their safety and well-being. In her post, she wrote, “It is heartbreaking to hear the news of violence against the minority population in Bangladesh. People were killed, families had to leave their place, women were abused, and places of worship were vandalized and burned. Hopefully, the new government will take appropriate steps to stop the violence and protect its people. My condolences and prayers are for all those who are facing difficulty.”

Her message resonates with many who are troubled by the ongoing violence, highlighting the need for immediate action to restore peace and protect the vulnerable.

Sonu Sood and Raveena Tandon Also Speak Out

Preity Zinta is not alone in her condemnation of the violence in Bangladesh. Actor Sonu Sood also raised his voice, sharing a video on social media that featured a Bangladeshi Hindu woman expressing her anguish. In his post, Sonu urged Indian authorities to bring back Indians from Bangladesh, emphasizing that it is not only the government’s responsibility but a collective duty to ensure their safety. He wrote, “We should try our best to bring back all our fellow Indians from Bangladesh, so that they can get a good life here. It is not only the responsibility of our government, which is trying its best, but also of all of us. Jai Hind.”

Raveena Tandon, another prominent Bollywood actress, also condemned the violence, calling for immediate action to stop the atrocities. She urged global leaders and influential figures, especially from India, to speak out against the suffering of the victims. In her message, Raveena emphasized the importance of protecting the rights and dignity of all people and encouraged others not to remain silent in the face of such injustice.

    Hope for Peace and Stability

The statements from Preity Zinta, Sonu Sood, and Raveena Tandon reflect the growing concern among Indian celebrities and the broader public about the situation in Bangladesh. Their voices add to the global outcry against the violence, calling for urgent intervention to protect the rights of the minority population and restore peace in the country.

As the situation continues to unfold, there is hope that the new government in Bangladesh will take swift and decisive action to address the violence and ensure the safety of all its citizens. The outpouring of support from across the border serves as a reminder that the world is watching and that the people of Bangladesh are not alone in their struggle for justice and peace.
