She further stated, “When I filed the FIR, the Indian police assured me that if Nikhil Patel denies the marriage, the traditions and witnesses are enough to put him behind bars. Let’s see what happens, but Nikhil and his family should be ashamed that they are denying the marriage.”
“Was I Just a Mistress?” – Daljeet’s Anguish
Daljeet did not hold back her anger, questioning whether she was merely a mistress in Nikhil’s life. “Didn’t Kenya’s top leaders attend this wedding? Didn’t you invite me to all your functions as a wife? Or was I just a mistress being invited like a married woman?” she wrote.
She also criticized Nikhil for not being honest with her, especially during Karva Chauth, a festival where wives fast for their husbands’ long life. “You should have told me this on Karva Chauth itself, where I was fasting for my husband till 11:30 pm. Instead, I should have enjoyed the food that day. Shame on you, Nikhil.”
