The actress revealed that the entire incident began when Sonu Nigam appeared on her talk show. Somi had launched her own talk show a while ago, and she invited various celebrities to share their thoughts and experiences. Sonu Nigam was one of her guests, and according to Somi, he gave a very thoughtful and insightful interview during his appearance.
She initially felt that Sonu was a genuine and wise person. However, Somi claims that after the show, when she reached out to Sonu for help with some personal matters, he completely ignored her attempts to contact him.
Claims of Manipulation and Personal Agenda
What hurt Somi the most was her realization that Sonu Nigam allegedly appeared on her show not out of goodwill or interest in the show itself, but to settle personal scores. Somi explained in her video that Sonu came to her show with the intent of taking revenge on someone with whom she had a connection in Mumbai. She expressed her disappointment, saying that Sonu used her platform to prove a point to his ex, rather than genuinely participating in her show.
“After some time, I realized that Sonu Nigam came to my talk show with an ulterior motive,” Somi said. “His purpose wasn’t to share his wisdom, but to show his ex that he was on my show, using my platform for his personal revenge.”

Somi also mentioned in her video that after Sonu’s appearance on her show, she tried multiple times to get in touch with him for follow-ups and to discuss further opportunities. Despite her repeated attempts, Sonu Nigam allegedly refused to respond, leaving her feeling neglected and used. She tried three times to reach out, but to no avail.
In her final comments, Somi warned her followers to be cautious and not to blindly trust people based on their outward appearances, no matter how respected they may seem. She expressed her disappointment at being treated this way by someone she once admired and praised.
