Tripti Dimri, who has gained immense popularity after her stellar performance in Animal, is about to achieve one of her childhood dreams—working alongside her idol Madhuri Dixit. Growing up, Tripti was a fan of Madhuri and admired her graceful dancing. Now, she has been cast in a new project by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment, alongside the veteran actress herself.
This yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Suresh Triveni, known for popular films like Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa. The story is believed to revolve around three key characters, with reports suggesting that Madhuri and Tripti might portray a mother-daughter duo.
Filming to Start in 2025
According to sources, the shooting for this exciting project is expected to commence in March or April of 2025. While further casting details are still under wraps, the film is described as a comedy-drama, adding an element of light-hearted entertainment to their collaboration. Both Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri’s fans are eagerly awaiting the start of production.
Both Actresses Also Feature in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’
Fans won’t have to wait long to see Madhuri and Tripti together on screen. Before their upcoming project begins, they will both be seen in the much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, scheduled to release on November 1, 2024. In this Kartik Aaryan starrer, Tripti and Madhuri will once again share the screen. This collaboration marks their second project together under the same production banner.
Tripti Dimri’s Upcoming Releases
Apart from these two projects, Tripti Dimri has a busy schedule ahead. She will soon be seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Rajkumar Rao, releasing on October 11. The film also features actors like Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, and Rakesh Bedi.
Following this, she will appear in Dhadak 2 set for release on November 22. Additionally, Tripti is gearing up to shoot for Anurag Basu’s romantic film with Kartik Aaryan and Vishal Bhardwaj’s action drama with Shahid Kapoor.
