Angelina Jolie Withdraws Domestic Violence Case Against Brad Pitt

In a significant development, Angelina Jolie has decided to withdraw the domestic violence case she filed against her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The case was related to an alleged incident on a private jet in 2016, which became a turning point in their relationship. The news has created a buzz among fans and media as many believe this could signal the end of the legal battle between the two Hollywood stars.

Case Related to 2016 Plane Incident

The incident in question occurred on a private flight from Europe to Los Angeles in September 2016. Jolie had alleged that Brad Pitt physically and verbally assaulted her and their children during the flight. Five days after this alleged incident, Jolie filed for divorce, bringing an end to their 12-year relationship. She later filed the case in April 2022, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), identifying herself as “Jane Doe” in court documents.

    Legal Dismissal Finalized

According to reports, the legal process for dismissing the case has now been finalized. Both Jolie and Pitt have agreed to bear their legal fees and related costs, as per the agreement. Jolie had initially petitioned the FBI and the Department of Justice to reopen the case, but it appears she has now opted to withdraw her claims.

    Brad Pitt Consistently Denied Allegations

Throughout the case, Brad Pitt has denied the allegations, maintaining that no assault took place during the flight. The FBI, which had initially investigated the incident, chose not to press any charges against Pitt. Despite the serious accusations, the federal authorities found insufficient evidence to move forward with legal action.

The End of a Long Legal Battle?

This case withdrawal is being viewed as a step toward ending the long-standing legal battles between the former couple. Although they were declared legally single in 2019, disputes between Jolie and Pitt have continued over other matters, including the ownership of their French vineyard and winery, Château Miraval. That dispute is still ongoing.

As the chapter on this case closes, fans are hoping that this marks a step toward healing for both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, bringing an end to years of legal and personal conflict.
