In a tragic incident in Ghaziabad, a man named Lalu Yadav passed away after being bitten by a snake. On Friday night, three cases of snake bites were reported across the district, all victims rushed to the District MMG Hospital in an unconscious state. While two others, including a teenage girl, are currently undergoing treatment, Lalu Yadav unfortunately did not survive despite receiving immediate medical care.

Lalu Yadav Succumbs to Snake Bite

Lalu Yadav, a resident of Habatpur, was brought to the emergency ward of MMG Hospital after being bitten by a snake on Friday evening. According to Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, CMS at the hospital, anti-snake venom was immediately administered, and all necessary treatments were provided. However, Lalu’s condition worsened, and he was declared dead later that night.

Two Other Victims in Critical Condition

In addition to Lalu Yadav, two others were also admitted to the hospital following snake bites. Nisha Dubey, a teenager from Lal Kuan, was bitten while sleeping and brought to the hospital unconscious. After receiving first aid and treatment, she is now under observation.

Similarly, Sonu Kumar, from Dasna, was also bitten by a snake while sleeping. His condition is critical, and he is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Alarming Rise in Snake Bite Cases

The rising number of snake bite incidents in Ghaziabad is concerning. Since July, more than 300 cases have been reported, and over five people have lost their lives. In response to this alarming situation, doctors at government hospitals have been trained for immediate treatment of snake bites, including the administration of anti-snake venom. The state government has also announced compensation for families in case of deaths caused by snake bites.

As snake bites become more frequent, health authorities are urging people to stay cautious, particularly at night when many of these incidents occur.
