In a candid conversation inside the Bigg Boss house, Sadavarte dropped a bombshell by alleging that during the reign of the MVA government, his life was in serious danger. According to Sadavarte, a senior police officer informed him that he was on the verge of being “encountered” at Khandala Ghat, a popular spot on the Mumbai-Pune highway.
He revealed that this supposed plan was linked to the attack on NCP leader Sharad Pawar’s residence, for which Sadavarte had been made an accused. He added that had he not received bail in that case, the outcome could have been fatal.

Gunaratna Sadavarte shared more details, claiming that while he was in jail, he faced severe hostility from a particular officer. He mentioned being placed in an “egg cell” as part of the punishment. After securing bail, Sadavarte said that when he was summoned for questioning, a senior officer told him, “You got your life back,” suggesting that his life was at risk.
Sadavarte further claimed that the officer openly admitted that his encounter had been planned at Khandala Ghat and he narrowly escaped that fate.
Maha Vikas Aghadi: A Brief Overview
For those unfamiliar, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was a political alliance formed after the 2019 Maharashtra elections. The alliance was led by Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena, along with Sharad Pawar’s NCP, and the Congress. Uddhav Thackeray served as the Chief Minister under this coalition until it was dissolved.
