Kapil kicked off the show with his trademark wit, referencing the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. “The movie Bahubali ran for three months, but their wedding lasted for eight!” Kapil exclaimed, drawing laughs from the audience. He humorously added, “It was such an extravagant affair that people were eating from silver plates, and there was even a 24-carat gold tadka in the dal!”

But, for the Ambani wedding, the problems were much different, like missing a photo-op with Kim Kardashian!

The Ambani wedding was again brought up when Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar made their entrance. During a fun segment where Kapil reads out funny social media comments, a photo of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor at Anant and Radhika’s engagement appeared on screen.
Kapil read a comment where a fan joked that in the picture, it looked like Alia was telling Ranbir, “Let’s check out the buffet first, and then we’ll decide how much to put in the Shagun envelope.” The quip had everyone laughing, and Karan Johar joined in, humorously adding, “What can we even gift them? We don’t have that kind of status!”
