For days, Isha had been active on social media, where she shared posts alleging mistreatment by Rupali and her father, Ashwin Verma. In some videos, Isha accused Rupali of being controlling and even hinted at feeling unsafe around her. In one such video, she even mentioned Rupali’s son, Rudransh, for which she later apologized.
Isha Verma’s Response: Instagram Account Now Private
In response to the case, Isha Verma has taken a step back by making her Instagram account private, restricting access to her 15.8K followers. Isha has not yet issued a public statement regarding the defamation case, though she did share an emotional video earlier, where she appeared visibly upset while speaking about her family situation.

According to a statement from Rupali Ganguly’s legal team, led by celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan, the defamation case was filed to protect Rupali’s personal and professional image from “baseless and defamatory statements.” The statement adds that Rupali Ganguly, who is against using defamatory tactics for attention, is taking this step to safeguard her reputation.
