TV child star Maisha Dixit, known for her roles in popular serials, was seriously injured in an unfortunate incident at Chandigarh’s Elante Mall. The 13-year-old actress was celebrating her birthday with her aunt on September 30 when tiles from a pillar fell, hitting both of them.
Maisha Dixit’s Birthday Celebration Turns Tragic
The incident occurred around 4 pm while Maisha and her aunt were standing near a pillar to take a selfie. Suddenly, tiles from the pillar fell, hitting Maisha in the ribs and fracturing them. Her aunt also sustained a head injury and required multiple stitches. Maisha, who was scheduled to start a new project on October 1, is now recovering from the injuries.
Investigation Underway in Elante Mall Incident
Following the incident, mall management has blocked off the area where the accident happened and initiated an investigation. Elante Mall’s officials have expressed their regret and are cooperating with authorities. According to reports, Maisha’s family lives in Sector 22, Chandigarh, and they had gone to the mall to celebrate her special day.
Maisha’s Father’s Outrage Over Mall Negligence
Maisha’s father expressed his anger at the mall’s negligence, questioning how such a preventable accident could have occurred. He said, “Today was supposed to be a happy day for us, celebrating Maisha’s birthday, but it turned into a nightmare. If anything worse had happened to my daughter, who would take responsibility?”
