In an extraordinary cricket match in Malaysia, Singapore’s team made history by bowling out Mongolia for just 10 runs. This incredible performance happened in the 14th match of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier A, played at the Bangi ground. Mongolia’s team struggled to score, and the match ended in just five balls, with Singapore winning easily. Despite losing one wicket, Singapore chased down the target in no time.

    Harsh Bhardwaj Steals the Show

The star of the match was 17-year-old Harsh Bhardwaj, a leg-spinner of Indian origin, playing for Singapore. Harsh took 6 wickets, giving away only 3 runs in his four overs. Despite being a leg-spinner, the Singapore captain, Manpreet Singh, trusted him to start the bowling, and Harsh delivered an unforgettable performance. His stunning spell saw him take 5 of the first 6 wickets, leaving Mongolia’s batting lineup in tatters.

    Mongolia’s Struggle with the Bat

Mongolia’s batting performance was nothing short of disastrous. None of their players managed to reach double digits, and 5 of their batsmen couldn’t even score a single run. The highest score by any Mongolian player was just 2 runs. By the end of their innings, they were all out for 10 runs, marking one of the lowest scores ever in T20 cricket. Mongolia’s slow batting rate made it the worst T20 performance to date.

    New Records Set

Mongolia now holds the unfortunate record of being bowled out for the lowest total ever in T20 International history, with just 10 runs. Previously, the Isle of Man had this record, getting all out for 10 runs in 8.4 overs. However, Mongolia set a new low, managing to survive 10 overs while scoring the same amount. Earlier this year, Mongolia’s team had also been dismissed for 12 runs in a match against Japan, indicating their ongoing struggles with the bat.

    Harsh Bhardwaj’s Heroics Create History

Harsh Bhardwaj’s performance is now one for the history books, as his remarkable 6-wicket haul at such a young age makes him a rising star in cricket. His success as a leg-spinner in this match has caught the attention of cricket fans worldwide.
