With his recent hit Kalki 2898 AD, Amitabh paid ₹71 crore in taxes and secured the fourth position. Bollywood’s action star Ajay Devgn, who has given some major hits recently, secured the sixth position by paying ₹42 crore in taxes. He was followed by Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor, who paid ₹36 crore and stood at number seven.
At number eight is popular TV host and comedian Kapil Sharma, who surprised many by making it to this elite list. The comedian paid ₹26 crore in taxes, surpassing many film stars with his earnings from his comedy show and live performances.
Among Bollywood actresses, Kareena Kapoor Khan topped the list by paying ₹20 crore in taxes, securing the ninth position overall. Her strong presence in films and endorsement deals has contributed significantly to her income. Just below her is Shahid Kapoor, who paid ₹14 crore in taxes and took the tenth spot. Joining Shahid at the tenth position is South Indian superstar Allu Arjun, best known for his role in Pushpa, who also paid ₹14 crore in taxes.
