Shilpa recounted that around 1998-1999, she was asked to audition for a filmmaker. She was innocent at the time and agreed to do a scene that was part of the audition. She explained that the scene involved her playing the role of an employee who had to seduce her boss. Shilpa shared that initially, she went along with it, not realizing what was about to happen.
However, the situation soon escalated, and the filmmaker crossed boundaries. Shilpa immediately sensed that something was wrong and, feeling frightened, managed to push him away and run out of the room. She said that the security staff at the venue realized something had happened and told her to leave, thinking she would make a scene.
Shilpa Chooses Not to Name the Filmmaker
Even though the incident deeply affected her, Shilpa has chosen not to reveal the filmmaker’s name. She explained that while she remembers him clearly, she doesn’t want to name him as it could hurt his family. She said, “His children are probably a little younger than mine, and they will feel bad if I name him.”
Shilpa also shared that years after the incident, she encountered the same filmmaker again. He did not recognize her and even offered her a role in a film, speaking to her in a friendly manner. Shilpa refused the offer and said he still doesn’t remember who she is.
