Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri recently shared some shocking details about actor Alok Nath’s behavior, revealing how his personality would change drastically after consuming alcohol. Alok Nath, who faced serious allegations during the MeToo movement, has kept a low profile since the controversy. However, new insights from Himani Shivpuri paint a troubling picture of the actor’s conduct when under the influence of alcohol.
Alok Nath: A Jekyll and Hyde Personality?
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Himani Shivpuri described Alok Nath as having a dual personality. “When he wasn’t drinking, he was very cultured,” she said, explaining that he had a reputation for being polite and professional on set. However, his behavior would shift drastically after a few drinks, turning him into a completely different person. “His personality was like Jekyll and Hyde,” Himani noted, adding that while she rarely experienced any problems with him directly, she had heard numerous stories from others who had witnessed his troubling behavior after he drank.
Incident During the Filming of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’
Himani shared one particular incident from the set of the popular film “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.” She recalled how Alok Nath, under the influence of alcohol, caused a scene, making it difficult for the crew to continue working. Though he was known for his calm and composed demeanor, especially while shooting, his behavior reportedly changed drastically after drinking.
A Disturbance on a Flight
Himani also spoke about an episode during a flight to an award show where Alok Nath’s drinking caused a disturbance. She recounted how she, along with Alok Nath’s wife, tried to calm him down when he became uncontrollable after drinking. They warned him to behave, or he risked being deboarded. She also mentioned that this was not the first time he had faced such a situation, as he had reportedly been deboarded from a flight earlier due to similar conduct.

‘After 8 PM, He Was a Different Person’
Speaking further, Himani revealed that Alok Nath’s behavior would change completely after 8 PM. “He used to be very calm and professional on set, but as soon as the clock struck 8, he would become a different person,” she said. This revelation aligns with the accusations that surfaced during the MeToo movement in 2018-19, where multiple women, including actresses Sandhya Mridul, Navneet Nishan, and writer Vinta Nanda, accused Alok Nath of sexual harassment. The actor did not deny these allegations.
