With his role in Anubhav Sinha’s much-talked-about web series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, Tripathi has once again showcased his immense talent. Known for his portrayal of Ram, the first officer of the Indian Embassy, he adds a crucial twist in the plot and aids in the rescue mission of the hijacked passengers. But many might not know that Anupam Tripathi has already earned recognition far from India, especially through his breakout role in the global sensation Squid Game.

Born on November 2, 1988, in Delhi, Anupam Tripathi’s journey to stardom wasn’t straightforward. His first big break in South Korea came with the 2014 film Ode to My Father, although his role was small and went uncredited. But Tripathi didn’t give up. He continued working in the South Korean entertainment industry, slowly building his resume with appearances in TV shows, films, and advertisements.
