Pawan Singh’s Electrifying Song in Stree 2

Stree 2, the sequel to the popular horror-comedy Stree, has taken the box office by storm. With stars like Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor leading the cast, the film has already broken several records. However, one particular moment in the movie that has left audiences buzzing is Bhojpuri singer-actor Pawan Singh’s song, “Aai Nahi.” This energetic track has become a fan-favorite, making people dance in cinema halls across the country. Pawan Singh’s contribution to the Bollywood soundtrack has not only introduced him to a wider audience but also showcased his immense talent beyond the Bhojpuri industry.

Pawan Singh’s Journey from Bhojpuri Cinema to Bollywood

Pawan Singh, known as one of the most popular stars in the Bhojpuri industry, has steadily built a massive fan base with his versatile performances in both singing and acting. He’s one of the highest-paid stars in Bhojpuri cinema, charging around Rs 40-45 lakh per film, as reported by Gaana.com. With his Bollywood debut in Stree 2, Pawan Singh has made a significant mark, proving that his talent transcends regional boundaries.

Pawan Singh’s Hesitation to Enter Bollywood

Interestingly, Pawan Singh revealed in a recent interview with Star Biopic that he was initially hesitant about making his Bollywood debut. He shared that he wasn’t fully prepared for the opportunity and even considered skipping the recording for the song in Stree 2 due to his busy schedule. However, the persistence of the film’s team, who recognized his unique voice and talent, eventually convinced him to take the plunge.

“It Was My Destiny to Be Loved by So Many People”

Pawan Singh reflected on the overwhelming love his song has received, stating, “The way the song is getting love, it was in my destiny. This is a matter of great honor for me.” Though the song “Aai Nahi” appears briefly during the movie, it plays in full at the end, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. With more than 17.5 crore views on YouTube, the song has become a viral hit, cementing Pawan Singh’s Bollywood presence.

A Quick Recording That Made Waves

Pawan Singh shared details about how quickly the song came together. He revealed that he recorded the song in just 30 minutes, after which the team worked overnight to finalize it. The song was then released during a special event in Lucknow, where Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor were also present. It received an instant positive reaction from fans, many of whom had been eagerly waiting to see what Pawan Singh would bring to Bollywood.

A Perfect Match for the Track’s Desi Vibe

Music composers Sachin-Jigar were on the lookout for a new voice to match the desi vibe of the song. Initially, Divya Kumar was considered for the track, but the team ultimately decided to go with Pawan Singh, whose voice perfectly matched the song’s earthy and vibrant energy. Composer Sachin-Jigar credited the success of the song to Pawan Singh’s unique style, which added a fresh flavor to the Bollywood music scene.

    Madhubanti Bagchi’s Contribution

Alongside Pawan Singh, Madhubanti Bagchi also lent her voice to the song, adding to its charm. The combination of these two powerful voices, paired with the music composition, has made “Aai Nahi” one of the most talked-about songs from Stree 2.

Pawan Singh’s transition from Bhojpuri cinema to Bollywood has been nothing short of impressive, and with his growing popularity, fans are excited to see what the future holds for him in the industry.
