Salman Khan’s Defamation Notice: Why It Was Sent
The controversy began when Amit Mishra made statements to the media regarding the safety of his clients, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who were arrested following the April 2024 firing outside Salman Khan’s residence. Mishra had alleged that his clients’ families feared for their lives, claiming they were under threat from jailed associates of notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim. According to Mishra, the orders to harm his clients could be coming from Salman Khan himself.
Following these allegations, Salman Khan’s legal team quickly responded by sending a defamation notice to Amit Mishra. The notice demands that Mishra retract his statements and issue an apology within 48 hours, or face legal action, including a financial penalty.
