Bollywood actress Esha Gupta recently appeared in a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, where she spoke openly about her professional relationship with YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav. She also addressed her past clash with filmmaker Sajid Khan. Her honest answers gave fans a fresh perspective on her working style and opinions about the current generation of digital creators.
“Elvish is Sweet and Hardworking,” Says Esha Gupta
When asked about her collaboration with Elvish Yadav, Esha Gupta responded with warmth and humour. The two were recently seen in a recreated version of the romantic track Hum Toh Deewane, which originally featured Elvish alongside Urvashi Rautela. Speaking about their bond, Esha shared, “We did a song promotion together. I was paid for the work, and Elvish is a very sweet boy. He is very young and comes from North India. I like such people—they are polite and respectful.”
She also added that even though there is a clear generation gap between them, she admires Elvish’s work ethic. “This generation is born on YouTube. They are very different from us, but he is hardworking, and I respect that.”
Esha Highlights the Generation Gap
Esha acknowledged the difference in mindset and experience between her and Elvish Yadav. She pointed out that digital creators like Elvish belong to a new wave of entertainers who became popular through social media. “His generation is different. They are confident and fast-growing. But still, Elvish has manners and behaves nicely. That’s rare today,” she said.
Her comments reflect the way traditional film actors are slowly embracing collaborations with social media stars, creating a bridge between two entertainment worlds.
Esha Gupta Addresses Her Fight with Sajid Khan
Besides Elvish, Esha also touched upon her past issues with Sajid Khan. She revealed that there were strong arguments on the film set, and things even got abusive at one point. However, she clarified that the situation never crossed a line. “There were fights, and yes, we used bad words, but Sajid Khan never harassed me sexually,” she confirmed.
Her statement came as a response to earlier controversies surrounding Sajid Khan during the #MeToo movement. By sharing her own experience, Esha tried to clear the air while also stating the truth about what happened on the set.
