He has approached the state police, claiming that a criminal conspiracy is being orchestrated against him to tarnish his reputation and that of the Malayalam film industry. In his statement, Siddique said, “The reputation of the entire Malayalam film industry is being deliberately tarnished by a group of people. Director Ranjit Also Accused
The controversy doesn’t end with Siddique. On Monday, the police registered a separate case against director Ranjit, following a complaint from a Bengali actress. She alleged that Ranjit had misbehaved with her during pre-production discussions for a film in 2009. This case adds to the growing list of serious accusations within the Malayalam film industry, further highlighting the need for thorough investigations and systemic changes.
