Talking about director Amar Kaushik, Abhishek Banerjee affectionately called him a “Kanpuriya,” referring to someone from Kanpur, a city known for its unique sense of humor. Banerjee shared how Kaushik would crack jokes and sometimes even tease the actors for their performances. He explained that while Amar Kaushik may seem polite and gentle, he has a mischievous side.
Banerjee jokingly warned that Kaushik could “bully” actors for their bad acting or failed improvisations, but it was all in good fun. The director’s ability to make everyone laugh while also pushing them to perform better was a big reason why the actors felt comfortable improvising and experimenting with their roles.
