Anupam Tripathi, the name that has recently caught the attention of Indian audiences, has been quietly making his mark in the world of cinema, especially in South Korea, for years. With his role in Anubhav Sinha’s much-talked-about web series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, Tripathi has once again showcased his immense talent. Known for his portrayal of Ram, the first officer of the Indian Embassy, he adds a crucial twist in the plot and aids in the rescue mission of the hijacked passengers. But many might not know that Anupam Tripathi has already earned recognition far from India, especially through his breakout role in the global sensation Squid Game.

A Rising Star in South Korea: How Anupam Tripathi Found Success in a Foreign Land

Born on November 2, 1988, in Delhi, Anupam Tripathi’s journey to stardom wasn’t straightforward. After initially starting in theater back in 2006, he honed his acting skills and even started learning dance. Tripathi was associated with the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD) before deciding to take a leap that would change his life forever.

In 2010, he moved to South Korea after receiving the prestigious Arts Major Asian Scholarship, which allowed him to study at Korea National University of Arts. His time there wasn’t easy. He had to deal with the cultural differences and the challenge of learning the Korean language.
