Adnan Shaikh, known from Bigg Boss OTT 3, recently remarried his long-time girlfriend Ayesha, following his Umrah pilgrimage. However, the couple’s relationship has stirred up much discussion, especially after Adnan’s sister, Iffat Shaikh, dropped a major revelation on her Instagram.
According to Iffat, Adnan’s wife Ayesha was not always known by that name. Her real name, as per Iffat’s claims, is Riddhi Jadhav. Iffat shared this information on her Instagram account, where she posted a family photo showing Riddhi (Ayesha), her parents Rashmi and Ritesh Jadhav, and herself. The post quickly gained attention, sparking curiosity among fans about Ayesha’s past.
Riddhi’s Conversion and Family Fallout
Iffat went on to share more details about Riddhi’s journey from her previous life. She claimed that Riddhi converted to Islam and changed her name to Ayesha after falling in love with Adnan. However, her family was allegedly not supportive of her decision to convert and marry Adnan. This led to a fallout, with her family reportedly disowning her, and she has been living with Adnan for over a year now.
Tension Between Adnan and His Sister
This revelation comes in the wake of a legal dispute between Adnan and Iffat. Iffat had previously filed a complaint against Adnan, accusing him of physically assaulting her after she allegedly leaked Ayesha’s photos. Ayesha, during their nikah ceremony, had asked attendees not to click her photos, wishing to keep her appearance private, especially for Adnan. Despite this, media pictures surfaced showing Ayesha in a hijab and mask, which added fuel to the fire.
When Did the Marriage Happen?
Interestingly, according to reports from the entertainment portal Tele Glam, Adnan and Ayesha were actually married long before the recent ceremony. The couple reportedly tied the knot in November 2023 and even celebrated Ayesha’s birthday together in Dubai soon after. The September nikah, then, was a second ceremony following Adnan’s religious pilgrimage.
Adnan, on his part, has stayed relatively quiet on the matter, dismissing the accusations against him as false, with the couple being in the public eye now more than ever.
