How Shera Became Salman’s Bodyguard
Shera first met Salman Khan at a show, where Salman’s brother Sohail Khan noticed him. Shera explained in an interview with Zoom how this encounter changed his life. “Sohail Bhai called me because they needed security for Salman Bhai. There was an issue at the stage show, and when Sohail Bhai saw me, he asked me to take on the job. I started traveling with Salman Bhai for shows, and slowly, our bond grew,” Shera said.
Shera further mentioned how his relationship with Salman became very strong over time. He shared, “I am a Sardar, and Salman Bhai is a Pathan, so we are the perfect pair. I told Bhai that as long as I’m alive, I’ll stay by his side and serve him.”
Shera’s Dedication to Salman Khan
While many bodyguards of celebrities keep changing, Shera is confident that he will always be by Salman’s side. He proudly stated that no one else can take care of Salman the way he does. This dedication makes Shera different from others in the field of security.
Shera’s real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, and besides working for Salman, he also owns his own security agency called Tiger Security. Over the years, Shera has provided security to not just Bollywood stars but also international celebrities, including pop legend Michael Jackson and singers like Wigfield and Diana King.
