The production of Sikandar is in full swing. Director AR Murugadoss and his team are currently working on the songs of the film, with an extravagant set worth ₹15 crore being built in Mumbai for the shoot. As per a report by Mid-Day, the film’s current song sequence is being shot at the SRPF ground in Goregaon, which has been transformed to resemble slum-like villages, adding authenticity to the backdrop.
The shoot is expected to continue in Mumbai until October. After that, the team plans to head to Europe for the next schedule, where two romantic songs will be filmed. The makers are aiming to wrap up the entire shooting process by December 2024, well in time for the Eid 2025 release.
