Cricket fans are in for a big treat this October and November 2025 as India will travel to Australia for a long white-ball series. The tour will feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), spread across different cities and stadiums. This series is not only important for fans, but also gives both teams a great chance to test their players and strategies before the upcoming ICC tournaments.

The tour will start with ODIs, beginning on 19 October in Perth and ending on 25 October in Sydney. After that, both teams will play five T20 matches between 29 October and 8 November. Reports say that tickets for all the matches are already sold out, which shows how high the excitement is for this tour.

Let’s look at the complete schedule, along with a simple pitch report of each stadium where the matches will be played.

India vs Australia ODI Series 2025 Schedule and Pitch Details

    1st ODI – 19 October 2025

    Venue: Perth Stadium, Perth
Pitch Insight: Perth’s pitch is always known for fast and bouncy conditions. It usually helps pace bowlers early in the game. Batsmen will have to adjust quickly to get runs here. Both teams would like to start strong in this fast-paced ground.

    2nd ODI – 23 October 2025

    Venue: Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
Pitch Insight: Adelaide is a beautiful ground with a pitch that supports both bat and ball. Early on, batters can score freely, but as the game moves on, spinners come into play. It is one of the most balanced pitches in Australia.

    3rd ODI – 25 October 2025

Venue: Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Sydney
Pitch Insight: The SCG pitch usually supports spin bowling more than pace. It will be an interesting match as both teams will look to use their spin attacks smartly. Sydney is also known for its lively crowd that always adds to the excitement.

India vs Australia T20 Series 2025 Full Schedule and Pitch Reports

    1st T20 – 29 October 2025

    Venue: Manuka Oval, Canberra
Pitch Insight: This ground is relatively new and has pitches that favour batting. High-scoring games are common here. This being the first T20, both teams will want to set the tone for the rest of the series.

    2nd T20 – 31 October 2025

Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Melbourne
Pitch Insight: MCG is one of the world’s largest stadiums. Its pitch is good for batting, but the large boundary size also challenges batsmen. Fast bowlers can also get help with bounce and carry. The stadium’s crowd makes every match electric.

    3rd T20 – 2 November 2025

    Venue: Bellerive Oval, Hobart
Pitch Insight: Hobart’s ground is small, and the pitch here supports stroke play. It’s a paradise for batsmen and often sees big totals. This match falls in the middle of the series, so momentum could shift here.

    4th T20 – 6 November 2025

Venue: Gold Coast Stadium, Gold Coast
Pitch Insight: Gold Coast is one of the newer venues and is often used for fast-paced T20 matches. Pitches here are flat and support run-making, but bowlers who use variations smartly can still perform well.

    5th T20 – 8 November 2025

    Venue: The Gabba, Brisbane
Pitch Insight: Gabba is famous for its pace and bounce. It is a dream pitch for fast bowlers. If the series is tied till this point, fans can expect a thrilling finish at this iconic venue. The Australian team has a very strong record at the Gabba, making it a big challenge for India.

Key Things to Watch This Series:

    • Return of Stars: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are likely to play the ODI matches, adding strength to India’s lineup.
    • T20 World Cup Prep: The T20 series is a key test ahead of the next ICC T20 World Cup, as teams will focus on player form and team balance.
    • Diverse Conditions: The matches are spread across different types of pitches—some fast, some spin-friendly, and some ideal for batting—which will help both teams prepare for varied conditions.

This tour is expected to offer high-quality cricket, and with top players in action, fans will enjoy close contests in every match.
