There’s a new buzz in the entertainment world, and it’s not just about Bollywood stars. Rumors are circulating that Australian cricket legend David Warner could be making a surprising appearance in the highly awaited film, Pushpa 2. The film, starring Allu Arjun, is already creating a lot of hype, and Warner’s potential cameo as a villain has added to the excitement.

David Warner, who recently retired from international cricket after the 2024 T20 World Cup, might be stepping into the film industry soon. A viral photo circulating on social media has fueled these speculations. In this image, Warner is seen in a striking scene, standing at Melbourne Waterfront with a lollipop in one hand and a golden gun in the other. Dressed in a white shirt and pants, he steps out of a helicopter, looking every bit like a movie villain.

David Warner’s Viral Photo Sparks Cameo Rumors for Pushpa 2

This viral picture from the Pushpa 2 set has gotten fans talking. The shot looks cinematic, and many are speculating that Warner could be playing a negative role or making a cameo appearance in the movie. Fans have connected this to Warner’s earlier interactions with Pushpa star Allu Arjun on social media. Warner commented on Arjun’s Instagram post announcing the film’s release date, playfully hinting that he might have a guest role in the movie.

Adding fuel to the fire, Warner has already made videos recreating iconic scenes and dialogues from Pushpa. He has even shared clips of himself dancing to the movie’s hit song, “Srivalli,” further cementing his connection to the Pushpa universe. However, neither Warner nor the filmmakers have confirmed the rumors. As of now, everything remains purely speculative.

David Warner’s Cricket Career and Future in Films

David Warner’s international cricket career spanned over a decade, starting with his Test debut for Australia in 2011. Throughout his career, Warner played in all three formats, becoming one of the world’s leading cricketers. In Tests, he scored 8,786 runs, including 24 centuries. In ODIs, Warner accumulated 6,932 runs, while in T20 Internationals, he smashed 6,565 runs. His career included a total of 49 international centuries.

Even after retiring from international cricket, Warner remains active in league cricket and will continue playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). If the rumors of his role in Pushpa 2 turn out to be true, Warner’s post-cricket career could take an exciting turn toward acting.

Pushpa 2 Release Date and Warner’s Potential Cameo

Pushpa 2 was initially set to release on August 15 but has been delayed to December 6 due to post-production issues. Several scenes of the film are also being re-shot, adding to the speculation that Warner’s viral picture might be connected to these new sequences.

Whether Warner’s appearance is just a cameo or a full-fledged villain role remains to be seen. Fans are excited and eager to see what unfolds in Pushpa 2, and David Warner’s possible involvement is only adding to the anticipation.
