Paras and Nidhi Open Up About Cut Scenes and Fights
Both Paras Kalnawat and Nidhi Shah revealed that their scenes were often edited or cut, leading to frustration. Paras said, “My scenes were cut,” to which Nidhi added, “I went through the same thing. We even had issues regarding clothes and hair. They used to question why one of us was getting better outfits.”
The actors also shared that there were frequent disagreements on set. Nidhi mentioned how the tension affected her willingness to perform: “There were fights every day, both onscreen and off. At one point, I felt like I didn’t want to work anymore.”
Paras Kalnawat on His Sudden Exit
Discussing his departure, Paras recalled: “I was the first actor to leave, and it happened so suddenly. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to leave, but the environment made it clear there was no other option.” He hinted that his screen time was deliberately reduced, adding, “Someone intentionally cut my track, and I am aware of it.”
Hints Toward Internal Conflicts
When asked if actors could influence decisions like reducing a co-star’s role, Paras responded: “Who wouldn’t talk to the star of the number one show? If an actor says they have an issue working with someone, their wish will likely be granted.” While he avoided naming anyone, the discussion seemed to suggest that tensions with a senior cast member could have played a role in these changes.
A Tough Journey for Sudhanshu Pandey
Sudhanshu Pandey, who was a part of the show for four years, also opened up about his exit: “This was my first daily soap, but I felt there was nothing left for me to explore. I have done over 50 films and OTT shows, and it felt like the right time to move on.”
