    Indian athletes have been performing brilliantly at the Paris Paralympics, and Day 8 promises even more excitement. On Day 7, India saw some incredible victories, with Harvinder Singh making history by winning a gold medal in archery. Dharamveer and Pranav Surma added to the medal tally with gold and silver, helping India reach 13th place in the rankings. Earlier, Sachin Sarjerao, a world champion shot put player, won silver with a new Asian record.

    As India celebrates its best-ever Paralympic performance, the country’s hopes are high for more medals on Day 8. The focus will be on athletics, judo, and powerlifting, where Indian athletes are expected to shine. Here’s India’s schedule for Day 8:

      • Pooja and Harvinder Singh vs Amanda Jennings and Teman Kenton-Smith (Australia) – 1:50 PM

    Judo

    • Women’s 48kg Quarterfinal
      • Kokila vs Akmaral Nauytbek (Kazakhstan) – 1:30 PM
    • Men’s 60kg Quarterfinal
      • Kapil Parmar vs Marcos Blanco (Venezuela) – 1:30 PM

    Athletics

    • Women’s 100m T12 Semifinal
      • Simran – 3:21 PM
    • Men’s Shot Put F35 Final
      • Arvind – 12:12 PM

    Powerlifting

    • Men’s Upto 65kg Final
      • Ashok – 10:05 PM
