In the same interview, Yograj Singh also demanded that Yuvraj Singh be honored with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. He highlighted Yuvraj’s significant contributions to Indian cricket, especially his role in India’s victories in the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup. Yograj praised Yuvraj for his resilience in battling cancer and still emerging as one of India’s cricketing legends. He also mentioned that prominent cricketers like Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have acknowledged that there might never be another player like Yuvraj Singh.
