Sacrifices for Love
Anita, who enjoyed a flourishing career in television, took a significant break from the industry for about five years. Reflecting on that period, she admitted that her relationship with Ejaz Khan influenced many of her career choices. While Anita and Ejaz were deeply in love, the relationship eventually led her to make decisions she now regrets.
“I have learned a lot and become a better person,” Anita shared. She explained that, while both she and Ejaz were good individuals, they weren’t right for each other. The actress revealed that she prioritized her relationship over her career, leading her to miss out on some excellent opportunities. “I only regret one thing—that I left my great career,” she said.
Missed Opportunities
Anita emphasized that Ejaz never directly asked her to give up her career. However, his preferences influenced her decisions. “It’s not that he forced me,” she explained, “but he always mentioned that he didn’t want me to do certain types of films or scenes.” To maintain the relationship, Anita chose to pass on roles that could have furthered her career.
During the interview, Anita expressed that her love for Ejaz and her desire to make the relationship work led her to compromise on professional opportunities. “Love and relationships were more important to me at that time,” she admitted.
Moving On
After her breakup with Ejaz, Anita eventually married Rohit Reddy, and the couple now has a son. Reflecting on her past, Anita acknowledged that she made sacrifices in an effort to please someone she loved. “You make a little change in love to impress the other person. You want them to love you a little more, so you do certain things,” she said.
